The loss of life on August 6^th, 2009 on the M.V. Princess Ashika has hit a raw nerve on our collective consciousness. We feel deeply saddened by the impact it has had on many of our families and friends.

The Pikipikihama Kae Vaevae Manava is an independent group of concerned citizens who are determined to help those families who have experienced the greatest loss.

Through charity and donations, we hope that we can bring a measure of comfort at this difficult time to the families who have lost family members.

We will be conducting a radio-thon fundraising event on Wednesday, August 12^th from 10AM - 1PM at the old TCF compound opposite the Uata building in Nuku'alofa, Tongatapu.
